Video Game Creation Class Could Soon Be A Reality For Students

The School Board will consider a slew of course changes.

OAK CREEK, WI— The Oak Creek -Franklin Joint School District School Board will consider a slew of changes to courses offered by the school district in the 2021/22 school year.

Each year a high school team of teachers and administrators review courses and propose new courses to the board in September for approval in October.

The school district has focused on college and career readiness in recent years, and so the district has been adding new and different options for students to prepare for life after high school.

The board is expected the vote on seven new classes to be offered in the 2021/22 school year.

Those include:
AP Computer Science Principles
Video Games and App Development
CompTIA A+ Certification
OC Cafe
Financial Accounting
Culture of Health Care Customer Services
Digital Literacy for Healthcare
