Wanted Man Struck Woman Pushing Stroller In Oak Creek: Police
Oak Creek police say they found a loaded Ruger 9 mm handgun and 8.2 grams of marijuana on the man after he was chased down.

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say they found a loaded gun in addition to marijuana on a wanted man after a passerby told police he watched the man strike a woman who was pushing a stroller last week.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, a passerby called authorities after he saw a 22-year-old Milwaukee man hit a woman who was pushing a stroller along the 2000 block of W. Ryan Road just after 2 p.m. July 25.
Police said they tracked down the man, and said he initially gave officers a fake name.

When police questioned the man further, they found out the man's real name, and also learned that he had two open warrants for his arrest on file.
According to police call logs, as officers moved to take him into custody, the man ran from officers. Officers managed to chase the man down.

Police say the man was transported to the Oak Creek Police Department for booking. Authorities say they're recommending that he be charged with carrying a concealed weapon and resisting an officer.
