Weather Alert: Funnel Cloud Watch Issued for This Afternoon

MILWAUKEE -- The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Friday afternoon.

Here is the alert from the NWS:

Brief funnel clouds possible in southeastern Wisconsin this afternoon.

Atmospheric conditions will be favorable for the formation of
short lived funnel clouds across southern Wisconsin over the next
several hours. These funnels normally do not touch the ground. As a result... they rarely do any damage and last only a few minutes.

However... remain alert and be prepared to move to a place of
safety if a funnel should approach the ground.
