Week Ahead: School Board to Vote On Grading Scales

A discussion on high school and middle school grading scales that started in September could reach its conclusion Monday night.

A months-long discussion on grading scales at Oak Creek's high school and two middle schools could come to an end Monday.

The Oak Creek-Franklin School Board is set to vote on a new grading scale in its meeting Monday, which begins at 6 p.m. at the school district offices, 7630 S. 10th St.

The district proposed aligning grading scales at the high school and middle schools back in September. After several parents criticized the the initial proposal—as well as other grading practices—the School Board has zeroed in on two possible options.
