Woodman's Thieves Tried Stealing $800 In Meat In Oak Creek: Cops
Oak Creek police say they had to chase down three people who tried stealing $800 in meat from Woodman's.

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities said they've arrested three people for their roles in stealing about $800 in meat from the Oak Creek Woodman's.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers were sent to the Woodman's Grocery Store, 8131 S. Howell Ave., just before 11 a.m. on Aug. 27 on a report that three people stole nearly $800 in meat, and left the store.
Police call logs stated the three — two men and one woman — filled up an entire cart full of items before leaving.

Authorities said officers managed to chase the three suspects down in order to make the arrest.
According to police, two of the suspects were booked at the Oak Creek police department, on suspicion of retail theft. One was also cited for resisting an officer.

One of the two had an open arrest warrant in Waukesha for retail theft, call logs showed.
