Nationally four players were honored as NJCAA Academic All-Americans with the Exemplary Academic Achievement Award for a 3.6-3.79 GPA. Those recognized are Bugas, Gilic, Santuari, and Thompson.
“I am very proud of all of these players as they achieved this distinction while maintaining a busy schedule of practice and traveling, which is quite a feat,” said Sharman. “Their hard work in the classroom to reach these goals is admirable, and they are good role models,” she added.
