Sharman Named 2020-2021 Volleyball Coach Of The Year In Casper College

Angel Sharman, women’s volleyball head coach at Casper College, has been named Coach of the Year in Region IX North for the 2020-2021 season. The recognition marks the sixth time, since Sharman began her coaching career at Casper College in 2001, that she has been named Coach of the Year in Region IX North.

In addition to being named Region IX North Coach of the Year, Sharman achieved her 600th career win as a head volleyball coach, with 490 of those wins at the T-Birds helm.

The Lady T-Birds finished the regular season as the No. 1 seed in the Region IX Volleyball Tournament recently held at the “Swede” Erickson Thunderbird Gym. The team finished the season 16-12 overall, 12-7 conference.
