After Recycling Theft, Community Rallies Around "Help Sampson" Campaign
Rohnert Park residents Bill and Kathy Mannone were shocked to see the recycling contents they were collecting to raise money for their dog's knee surgery was stolen from outside their home – now they're turning to a t-shirt campaign.

Halfway to their goal of raising $4,000 to pay for their dog Sampson's knee surgery, Rohnert Park couple Bill and Kathy Mannone were dealt a major blow in July when someone stole all of the recycling they'd been collecting from the community to generate additional funds.
Undeterred, the Mannones – with a heap of help from local residents and business owners – have continued gathering recycling in an effort to reach their $4,000 goal. Now the couple is turning to a "Help Sampson" t-shirt campaign, hoping to sell 30 t-shirts with Sampson's face on them and raise $300 in the process.
