ROHNERT PARK-COTATI, CA — COVID-19 hospitalizations continued to decline nationally, but the country still needs time to get back to pre-omicron variant hospital occupancy levels.

Around 128,500 inpatient beds were being used for COVID-19 patients as of Feb. 1, which was a drop of more than 20,000 beds from the prior week, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
