Bank Robbed In Rohnert Park, Police Say
Police released a surveillance image of the suspect who wore a camouflage jacket with a bright orange liner.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — An investigation was underway into a bank robbery Monday in Rohnert Park, police said.
The robbery was reported at 12:50 p.m. at WestAmerica Bank, 300 Rohnert Park Expressway, when a man walked up to a teller and said he was robbing the bank, police said in a news release.
The man had his hands in his jacket pockets, giving the impression he had a weapon hidden inside, police said.

After the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, the man walked out of the bank through the main doors, then walked north through the parking lot toward City Center Drive and Padre Town Center.
He was described as a white man wearing a black knitted cap, sunglasses and a blue mask that covered the lower part of his face. He also wore a camouflage jacket with a bright orange liner over a black shirt or sweatshirt.

"Officers arrived within minutes and began checking the area for the male subject," police said.
The investigation was ongoing Monday afternoon; police asked anyone with information to call Detective Justin Wax at 707-584-2600.
