The City’s Waste of Funds on Goldridge Rec. Building
Spending hundreds of Thousands of dollars in the wrong place!
Why is the city spending over $1,000,000.00 On a 30+ year old building that is out of code on electrical and plumbing for a inhabited Commercial building that hasn’t brought in $25,000.00 in profits per year since the city took over the control of the building. Plus the exterior is falling apart, Has cracks in stucco allowing water to get inside. I have been sending in photos of the weeds growing out of the gutters to the city for years.
All the walkways are uneven and have grass growing out of then. The old school portable sites are full of drainage holes and broken boxes. You just add more wood chips to try and hold down the weeds. the grass fields have big cracks in the adobe.
So please justify the expensive roof replacement project, and tell us the real total costs of the complete job.
