“We are pleased to offer this special, time honored service and welcome old and new friends alike to join us,” said Tim Maloney, General Manager of Santa Rosa Memorial Park.
Historically, this event has roots that date back to 18th century Saxony where communities gathered for all-night prayer vigils that were followed by visits to the nearby graveyard. There people sang hymns of praise to the Risen Savior who had overcome death.
All are welcome. Outdoor seating will be provided and warm clothing is advised. For information: (707) 542-1580 or www.srmp.org.
