Expect Traffic Delays At Golf Course Drive, Commerce Boulevard
The Commerce Boulevard Water Line Replacement Project will result in traffic delays this week, the city of Rohnert Park said.
ROHNERT PARK, CA — Community members can expect traffic delays the remainder of this week at the intersection of Golf Course Drive and Commerce Boulevard, and at the Commerce Boulevard/Wilfred Avenue offramp north of U.S. Highway 101, the city of Rohnert Park said.
The Commerce Water Line Replacement Project is underway and citizens should avoid those intersections from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, May 26-28.
The purpose of the city project, which is funded by the city's water preservation charge, water capacity charge and water utility fund, is to replace and relocate the 8-inch water line from the back of the sidewalk into the road for maintenance.

On May 11, the Rohnert Park City Council awarded an $880,000 contract for the work to Santa Rosa-based Argonaut Constructors.
