Fire At Burger King Causes $200K In Damages
The blaze, which remains under investigation, forced the restaurant to shut down.

SANTA ROSA, CA — A Santa Rosa fast-food restaurant was shut down Wednesday because of damage from a fire, the Santa Rosa Fire Department said.
Around 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, the fire department got several 911 calls about a fire at Burger King, 741 Stony Point Road, Santa Rosa FD Battalion Chief Jason Jenkins said.
The first engine crew was on scene within 4 minutes and found smoke on the roof and inside the restaurant so they requested additional crews, Jenkins said.

As firefighters began attacking the fire, they made sure all employees and customers were safely outside.
Jenkins said the fire was burning in the attic and ventilation system so crews from the ladder truck went to the roof and cut openings to release smoke and heat from the attic.
