Fire Destroys Rohnert Park Mobile Home, Injures Neighbor

A neighbor cut his hand when he broke a window to see if anyone was inside, public safety officials said.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — An unoccupied mobile home burned in a fire reported late Wednesday
afternoon in Rohnert Park, according to the city's Department of Public Safety. Crews responded at 4:35 p.m. to the fire at 144 Estrella Drive in the Rancho Feliz Mobile Home Park, where heavy smoke was coming from a home.

A neighbor broke a window to see if anyone was inside and suffered a laceration on his hand, public safety officials said.

Fire crews determined no one was home and extinguished the blaze within 10 minutes of arriving.

The neighbor was treated at the scene for his laceration and then released.

The cause of the fire and an estimate for how much damage it caused have not yet been determined by the Department of Public Safety.
