Flynn Creek Circus Arrives In Rohnert Park
The red-and-white big top went up Tuesday.
ROHNERT PARK, CA -- Flynn Creek Circus is in town and has been working to set up its big top at the SOMO Village Event Center in Rohnert Park for this weekend's performances. The "inter-active" show brings comedy and other inspiring acts to life under a red-and-white tent, which was hoisted up Tuesday in a field adjacent to one of the large buildings at the complex south of Sonoma State University.
Since July 1, the traveling circus has been making the rounds throughout Mendocino, Sonoma and Napa counties, stopping in Ukiah, Windsor, Santa Rosa, Calistoga and other communities. After Rohnert Park, the troupe will head to Fort Bragg and then Morgan Hill.
Tuesday in Rohnert Park, workers used sledgehammers to drive big anchors for the big top.
