Free 'Conscious Family' Festival Set for June 13 in Santa Rosa

WHO: Conscious Family Festival 2015

WHAT: The Conscious Family Festival is a free, multi-generational event for families to discover and create new methods and tools to experienchappy and fulfilling lives.

The day-long festival presents a variety of fun activities for children, parents and grandparents, as well as adult-only workshops providing methods and practical tools for helping, coping, creating and maintaining enhanced family living – for daily life and for the future. The festival mission is to support loving contexts for children and families by sharing the diverse awareness practices and resources of the world’s spiritual traditions.

Activities include: Family improv theater (children & adults); All Hands on Earth ceramic workshop (children); Enacting Native American Animal Stories (children); Family Yoga (children & adults); Contemplative Handwork (young children); Family Zen (children & adults); Family Rituals (children & adults); The Power of Listening (adults); Child-rearing according to spiritual masters (adults); Contemplative Writing for Families (adults).
