Here’s Your Million Dollar Plus Engineering And Inspector Costs!
We haven't had any Heavy Rain Storms Yet, Just imagine what this mess will look like when we start to get some heavy rain fronts.
And the bad part of this whole job is the more I walk it, the more I realize that it can’t be fixed to come even close to what we paid them to do. The fact that they didn’t do any of the sub base work, or install a Geo-liner, or Horizontal Root Guards, or 6”x6” welded wire mesh, or any of the Drainage, it can’t be done after the fact.
Then the question also comes to light, was the 33,000 Sq. Footage estimate for the Lump Sum Bids figured out for a 10’ wide Class 1 Mixed Use Bike path, or a 8’ one like we got.
So the fact that we paid Double because Green Valley chose PCC instead of Asphalt at Twice the costs, then it wasn’t even done per the Lump Sum Contract, it all needs to come out and done right.

That’s why we never let GCC work in our Refinery, even as a Sub Contractor!
