Highway 101 to be Closed in Both Directions Friday Night

Caltrans will close both directions of U.S. Highway 101 near Petaluma on Friday night as part of two interchange construction projects. 

Northbound Highway 101 at the Kastania Road over-crossing will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday, according to Caltrans officials.

Northbound traffic will exit at a temporary off-ramp to Petaluma Boulevard South and return to northbound Highway 101 at the Petaluma Boulevard South on-ramp. 

Southbound Highway 101 will close Friday at 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday. Motorists should take state Route 116/Lakeville Highway to state Highway 37 and continue south to Highway 101.

Caltrans will remove falsework from the Kastania Road over-crossing on Friday night.
