Cooking Under the Stars: Learn How at Point Reyes

You'll need to register soon. Ticket sales for the Point Reyes National Seashore Association event end Thursday.

POINT REYES STATION-A class on backcountry cooking being offered Saturday by the Point Reyes National Seashore Association has just a few spots left as of Monday morning.

The Art of Backcountry Cooking, offered by instructor Daryl Rogers, teaches you how to pack the ‘perfect outdoor kitchen’ for an outdoor adventure, pointing out the backcountry stoves and fuels that work best for outdoor adventures.

According to the PRNSA website, this monthly class will offer a series of tips, resources, recipes, and includes a backcountry meal.

The class is Saturday, January 9 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. , at Point Reyes Station. Here’s a map of the area. Thee fee is $120 for members, $140 for non-members.
