NorCal Artists Sought For Public Art Project In Santa Rosa

Artists from throughout Northern California are invited to submit proposals for a public art project at a city of Santa Rosa parking garage.

SANTA ROSA, CA — Santa Rosa is looking to add some original art to its downtown Fifth Street parking garage.

The city's Public Art Program seeks an artist — or team of artists — to design, create and install art for the garage's southwest-facing exterior wall that overlooks Orchard and Fifth streets.

The goal for the project is to increase the visibility and to improve its aesthetics of the garage, which city officials said is often overlooked by visitors.
