Officers Find Large Bee's Nest At Sebastopol PD

A large bee's nest outside the Sebastopol Police Department had to be removed this week after the swarm decided to settle in.

SEBASTOPOL - Things have been buzzing at the Sebastopol Police Department for the last few days.

A large bee's nest had formed outside the building in their parking lot, and decided to settle in.

An area beekeeper was called, and the bees were safely removed.

Residents of Concord faced a swarm of bees in a neighborhood just a few weeks ago, thought at first to be so-called "killer bees."

After examination, it was found the aggressive swarm was filled with ordinary honeybees.
