ROHNERT PARK, CA — Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting Friday at a Rohnert Park apartment complex, police said Wednesday in a news release.

Detectives with the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety developed information that led to the arrests early Tuesday morning of Rohnert Park residents Nathaniel Hannon, 19, of Rohnert Park and Mario Quezadas-Villegas, 19.

Hannon was taken into custody around 4 a.m. Tuesday on suspicion of being an accessory after the fact in the death of Cesar Daniel Saloma, 29, of Rohnert Park, police said.

"Due to the nature of this investigation, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, comprised of deputies with advanced levels of tactical and negotiation training, utilized their resources to access the residence prior to the arrest of Hannon," officials with the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety said. "Hannon surrendered peacefully and was taken into custody without incident."

Saloma was shot multiple times during a confrontation shortly before 3 p.m. Friday in the parking lot of Park Ridge Apartments, 4949 Snyder Lane. Despite efforts by emergency medical personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told police the male shooter and another man drove away in a gray Dodge Dakota pickup truck that had a black lumber rack and a white 4x4 sticker on the tailgate.

Police said Wednesday that investigators believe Hannon was present during the homicide and helped remove distinguishing characteristics on the suspect's truck immediately after the crime.

Hannon's bail was set at $1 million, police said.

Quezadas-Villegas was taken into custody around 7 a.m. Tuesday and was also being held in lieu of $1 million bail, police said.

Both remained in custody Wednesday at Sonoma County jail pending court appearances set for Thursday, jail records showed.

Detectives made the first two arrests in the case Saturday. Christian Arrano Perez, 20, of Windsor, was booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of one count of murder and one count of conspiracy, and Alejandro Alvarez-Solorio, 20, of Rohnert Park, was booked into jail on suspicion of one count of destroying or concealing evidence and one count of accessory after the fact. Both remained in custody without bail as of Wednesday, according to jail records.

"The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety is thankful for the cooperative working relationship with the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office which ultimately led to the swift and safe capture of these suspects," Rohnert Park police said. "Both agencies have had personnel working day and night to ensure the safety of the community."

Police said Wednesday no further information or details related to the case were released because the investigation was still active.
