Rohnert Park Man, 23, Killed In Napa Crash
The Sonoma County man was driving a red Chevy Camaro when he collided with a black Infiniti at a Napa intersection, police said.
NAPA, CA — A Rohnert Park man died in what police described as a head-on collision Sunday night in Napa. Kevin Brandon Patland, 23, was identified by the Napa County Sheriff-Coroner's Office as the driver of a red Chevy Camaro that collided with a black Infiniti at the intersection of Browns Valley Road and Woodlawn Drive, about a mile and a half west of state Highway 29.
Officers with the Napa Police Department were dispatched at 7:27 p.m. to the crash, and arrived to find both cars with major damage, Napa police Sgt. Kristofer Jenny said in a news release.
Patland, who was alone in the Camaro, was treated at the scene by emergency personnel with the Napa Fire Department and AMR ambulance, then was rushed to Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa where he died from his injuries.

Patland was pronounced deceased at 7:58 p.m., Napa County sheriff's spokesman Henry Wofford told Bay City News.
Two people were in the Infiniti and suffered injuries described as moderate to major; they were also taken to Queen of the Valley Hospital, according to Napa police.

Browns Valley Road was closed between Larkin and Austin ways for around seven hours as the Napa Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team investigated the collision, Jenny said.
Patland appeared to have been making a left turn onto eastbound Browns Valley Road when he collided head-on with the Infiniti, which was headed west on Browns Valley, Napa police Sgt. Ryan Cole told Bay City News.
"Officers will investigate whether or not alcohol or drugs may have contributed to this collision," Napa police officials said.
