Rohnert Park Man Killed In Nevada Stunt Plane Crash
The Clark County coroner's office in Nevada says a man who died in a stunt plane crash near Las Vegas on Saturday was from Rohnert Park.

LAS VEGAS - The Clark County coroner's office in Nevada has identified a man who died in a stunt plane crash near Las Vegas on Saturday as Steve Peterson, 32, of Rohnert Park.
The pilot of the plane, a Las Vegas man, also died in the crash, according to the coroner's office.
The men were flying in an acrobatic stunt plane operated by Vegas Extreme Adventures of Las Vegas that has been providing instructional aerobatic rides to the public since 2011.

"On behalf of all Vegas Extreme Adventures employees and staff, we would like to express out deepest condolences to the families that have lost loved ones and have been affected by this unfortunate accident," the company said in a prepared statement.
The Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.

The bodies of the two men were recovered around 7:15 p.m. Saturday and autopsies determined the crash victims died of blunt force trauma from the accidental crash, a coroner's office spokeswoman said.
