Rohnert Park Police Investigate Homicide

Police in Rohnert Park were investigating a shooting that left a 29-year-old dead.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — Police in Rohnert Park are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Friday.

Officers with the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety responded Friday at 2:51 p.m. to reports a shooting had occurred in the parking lot of the Park Ridge Apartments at 4949 Snyder Lane.

Responding officers located a 29-year old man on the grass in front of neighboring apartments.
The victim had been shot multiple times and died at the scene.

Police said the two suspects got into a gray pickup truck and fled the scene north on Snyder Lane.
Police said Friday it was not known if the suspects and the victim knew each other.

The suspects were described as Hispanic men. The shooter was described as having "short spikey hair."

The suspect vehicle is described as a gray Dodge Dakota truck with black lumber racks and a white 4x4 sticker on the tailgate.
