Rollover Crash Blocks Lanes on Highway 101: Driver and Passenger Reportedly Trapped

UPDATE:

The No. 2 lane of southbound Highway 101 has reopened after a rollover crash, but the No. 1 lane is expected to be closed until 1:45 p.m. so Caltrans can make repairs in the area, according to CHP.

PREVIOUSLY: A single-car crash has blocked two lanes of southbound Highway 101 in Petaluma.

The CHP reported the crash on its website around 11:15 a.m., and issued a sigalert at noon to warn drivers that the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes of the freeway are blocked near Petaluma Boulevard South.

Two people are reportedly trapped inside the car, which is a black Kia Optima, according to the CHP website.
