Santa Rosa Firefighters Rescue Dog From Apartment Fire
Fire crews battled a fire that had entered both the first and second floors of an apartment complex in Santa Rosa.
SANTA ROSA, CA — Firefighters took control of a fire in an apartment complex and rescued a dog in Santa Rosa late Saturday night.
Santa Rosa Fire Department tweeted that crews responded to a 10:05 p.m. report of a two-alarm fire at the Vineyard Garden Apartments in the 200 block of Burt Street. Six engines and two ladder trucks responded.
Upon arrival, they found significant flames coming from the first and second floors of four units.
A 39-second video the department posted shows a portion of the blaze being battled.

At 11:07 p.m., a second tweet from the department reported the fire was under control and that firefighters had rescued a dog and that it was being treated for smoke inhalation.
There was no mention of the residents of the apartments.

The tweet reported that crews would be on the scene until at least 1 a.m. to fully extinguish hot spots.
