Lakewood Bicyclist Killed In Crash With Car

The bicyclist, who was identified as Gwen Inglis, 46 of Lakewood, was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.

LAKEWOOD, CO – A Lakewood woman has died following a crash between a car and a bicycle over the weekend.

On Sunday around 10 a.m., Lakewood Police responded to a crash involving a car and a bicyclist near the intersection of W. Alameda Parkway and S. Indiana Street.

According to police, a cyclist was riding eastbound on W. Alameda Parkway between S. McIntyre Street and S. Indiana Street in the bike lane.

The bicyclist, who was identified as Gwen Inglis, 46 of Lakewood, was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries.

The driver of the car has been identified as Ryan Scott Montoya, 29, of Denver. He is currently being held at the Jefferson County Jail on several charges, including suspicion of vehicular homicide involving DUI or DUID, according to police.
