3-Vehicle Accident Now Cleared On I-95 In Branford

UPDATE: The accident is now cleared.

BRANFORD, CT — A three-vehicle accident on I-95 northbound between exits 54 and 55 occurred just before 11 a.m. Wednesday.

The left lane is closed. The accident may take up to an hour to clear.

The DOT adds that:

BRANFORD - I-95 Northbound is congested between Exits 53 and 55 (2.2 miles) because of Motor Vehicle Accident (3 Vehicle) between Exits 54 and 55. The left lane is closed. Reported Wednesday, July 3 at 11:02 am.
