Obituary: Paul Cipriani, 67, of Branford, Memorial Mass
A memorial mass to celebrate the life of retired Branford firefighter/paramedic Paul Cipriani will be held July 17 10 a.m. at St. John Bosco

Paul Louis Cipriani, Sr. (Retired Branford Firefighter/Paramedic) entered into eternal rest on December 22, 2020 from a courageous battle of pulmonary fibrosis. Paul was born on August 23, 1953 son of the late Paul & Rosemary Cipriani. Beloved father to Paul, Jr. (Kat) of Lovingston, VA, Christopher of Glens Falls, NY and Joseph of Torrington, CT. Beloved brother to Mary Rose Cipriani of Branford.
Paul graduated from Branford High School in 1972. He then attended CT School of Electronics and began his career at the Picker Corporation for 14 years. He then moved onto working with the Town of Branford Water Authority. Paul began his service as a volunteer with Indian Neck Fire Company 9 and the volunteer Rescue Squad. He was the former Chief of Branford Ambulance Service before its merger with the Fire Department.

Paul retired from the Branford Fire Department in 2016 and moved to St. Augustine, FL where he began his retirement.
In his younger years he loved playing with his HO trains and putting model planes and cars together. He loved cooking, playing his organ, and enjoyed summer vacationing in Lake George with his family. He was President of the NEFLSRI Train Club in FL.

Paul was always ready and willing to help anyone in need and was the kindest person and will be missed by many.
A memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held on July 17th at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Bosco (St. Mary’s Church) on 731 Main Street, Branford, CT.
