GUILFORD, CT - Reports of operations changing at Anthony’s of Guilford changing are not correct

Economic Development Coordinator Brian McGlone explains the error was his.

McGlone said:

“In my article in the 4th Quarter Edition of Guilford Events, I made incorrect statements about Anthony’s of Guilford. I stated the restaurant was re-shaping its operations to be primarily a “take-out” service operation, and the primary restaurant operations would be taken over by another New Haven based restaurant.

“My source of information was activity occurring within our Land Use departments. And while Anthony’s was approached by another restaurant, the agreement never materialized. Therefore, I want to report that Anthony’s of Guilford is alive and well.
