BRANFORD, CT — For a long time it's been rumored that the popular Archie Moore's restaurant franchise was eyeing Branford for another location. Well, according to <a href="http://www.branfordseven.com/business/archie-moores-coming-to-branford-center/article_73fd9548-4a93-11ea-828c-17ced8a78e75.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Branford Seven</a> the location has been found - it is the sight of the former Asti Restaurant smack in the middle of downtown. Asti had a few year run as an Italian restaurant at the location which also used to be the location of the former Mango's. Previously it was rumored that an Archie Moore's franchise would open up at the old Su Casa restaurant site at 400 East Main Street when that restaurant closed in 2018. But that never materialized.
