BioTech Company Relocating To Branford
Azitra is creating skin disease treatments. Previously based in Farmington, the company will soon set up shop on Business Park Drive.
BRANFORD, CT —A medical dermatology company whose products are progressing from "clinical testing and commercialization" is moving to Branford after signing a "long-term" lease for an Business Park Drive, according to broker Rich Guralnick of O,R&L Commercial.
Long based in Farmington, Azitra Inc., has collaborated with scientists at Yale University and Jackson Laboratory using research and technology on a skin microbiome to develop products for the treatment of adverse skin conditions and diseases.
After extensive renovations and upgrades to the facility, the company is moving into the 12,030 square foot of biomed-tech space-focused building at 21 Business Park Drive next month.

Since 2014, Azitra has been working with "world-leading scientists in dermatology, microbiology, and microbiomics," the company says.
