At approximately 2:17pm today, the Fire Department responded to a call for an injured person in the woods of the Supply Pond off of Chestnut Street. Reports were that a woman fell off a bike andwas injured.
The Department responded with their “All-Terrain Vehicle,” along with supporting crews from Engine-1 and Medic-1. The subject was located approximately one-half mile into the Supply Pond trails and was unable to walk due to her injuries. She was cared for, prepared for transport by Department Paramedics, and assisted into the off-road vehicle.

Crews were able to easily reach and safely transport the patient out of thewoods and into the awaiting ambulance. Fortunately the injuries were non-life threatening, but never the less, a safe and efficient transport was afforded to the patient."
