Branford Point Dock To Close April 1 For Seawall Repair
The contractor has 120 days to complete the job, so parking areas, the wharf, and sidewalks south of the circle will be closed.

BRANFORD, CT — The Branford Point Dock will close beginning April 1 as seawall repairs are set to begin.
The town announced that the reconstruction project of the partially failed seawall was awarded to Plainville-based Loureiro Construction.
The plan allows the firm 120 days to finish the job, meaning the dock may be closed until August 1.

The Branford Point parking area, wharf, and sidewalks south of the circle will be closed for the contractors use during the repair job. Parking at Parker Memorial Park will remain open for access to the park and beach areas.
