Branford Police Arrests Include Strangulation and Assault Charges
All of the information is provided by the Police Department and all charges are allegations at this time.
Branford Police Arrest Log:
- Louis Crotta, 24, of 32 North Rd. in Hopkinton, RI, is charged with sixth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal mischief.
- Justin Rodriguez, 27, of 111 Florence Rd. is charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening.
- Steven Taraquino, 55, of 244 Shore Dr. is charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, third-degree criminal mischief, and second-degree strangulation.
- Brandon Cosenza, 19, of 211 Main St. is charged with possession of narcotics.
- Jake Crouch, 19, of 22 Fredrick St. in North Branford is charged with possession of narcotics.
- Andrew Kaik, 31, of 229 Branford Rd. 43 in North Branford is charged with second-degree burglary, home invasion, possession of drug paraphernalia, risk of injury, and impairing morals.
- Brenda Magana, 20, of 153 Chapel St. in New Haven is charged with second-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.
- Agustin Ortega, 26, of 153 Chapel St. in New Haven is charged with sixth-degree larceny, sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, second-degree criminal trespass, manufacturing of burglar’s tools, and possession of burglar’s tools.
- James Petonito, 44, of 730 Goose Ln. in Guilford is charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and risk of injury.
- Bret Zielanski, 41, of 338 Monticello Dr. is charged with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of license and registration, no insurance, operating a motor vehicle under suspension, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of narcotics.
- Kuntak Joyner, 38, of 575 Maple St. in Bridgeport is charged with third-degree larceny and third-degree forgery.
- Francis Sebbie, 42, of 514 Main St. Apt. 11 in East Haven is charged with sixth-degree larceny.
