Dear Parents/Guardians,
"At this week’s joint BOE joint Communication/Teaching & Learning Committee meeting the district presented a framework for a return to full in-person instruction. You can access the full presentation here. We anticipate commencing the transition on Monday, March 22, 2021 with our elementary students. Please review the timeline for all schools here.

Throughout this process the district will continue to communicate and coordinate with our local health department to ascertain the impact of the transition. In the upcoming weeks, the public health data and its impact on our schools will be carefully monitored to ensure it supports our decision. Some health and safety measure will be adjusted to accommodate the increased student density in our schools. These changes are highlighted here.
In the days ahead, expect building principals to communicate directly with their families about specifics related to their buildings. This is an exciting time but one that also comes with some trepidation. Please know we will continue to be driven by public health metrics and guidance as we strive to provide a sustainable and safe learning experience for all students."
Sincerely,
Hamlet M. Hernandez
Superintendent of Schools
