Branford Teachers To Get 8.3% In Raises Over 3 Years: Report
After a lengthy debate, and by a narrow margin, the Branford RTM approved a three-year teacher contract, the New Haven Register reported.
BRANFORD, CT — Over the course of the new three-year pact, Branford teachers will receive a total of 8.3 percent in raises, the New Haven Register reported.
The Representative Town Meeting vote came after more than an hour of debate, according to the report. Watch the full RTM Jan. 13 meeting here.
The vote was 14-13 vote with one abstention.

Teachers will get a 2.71 percent raise in the first year of the contract, 2.84 percent in the second and a 2.75 percent in the third year, it was reported.
