Branford Trash Pickup Suspended Thursday, Town Officials Said
"Due to unforeseen circumstances," trash pickup was stopped, including "mostly" the Stony Creek area. Why is unknown.
BRANFORD, CT —Thursday trash pickup in Branford was suspended late Thursday morning, the town announced on Facebook.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances the Thursday trash collection has been suspended for the remainder of today. This mostly includes the Stony Creek area. We ask residents to please leave trash at the curb. Another collection team will continue the route starting after midnight this evening. We apologize for any inconvenience."
The reason for the suspension of pickup is not known. Patch has emailed the town for more information.
