Are you looking for something to do this weekend? There are plenty of events on the calendar!

Spring is in the air and Patch's event calendar is packed full if you're looking to get out of the house with something to offer for just about everyone.Â
Friday, April 5
- Zane’s Cycles CT Bike Expo and Big Wheel Sale starts Friday, April 5 and runs through Sunday, April 7.Â
- It's opening night for Walsh Intermediate School's Lady Pirates of the Caribbean with a show at 7:30 p.m. Check out these interviews with some of the cast members.Â
- Neighbor Helping Neighbor is a fundraiser for the Community Dining Room.

Looking Ahead
- Registration for the 2013-14 school year at St. Mary School is underway for pre-k (age 3) through grade 8. For information, call 203-488-5470 and ask for Sister Annette.
- Kassandra Moss of Natureworks will give a talk and demonstration on terrariums on Monday, April 8 at the Blackstone Library.
- Branford's Drug and Alcohol Awareness Day Known as "Take A Step Day" Takes Place on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the Branford Recreation Department.
- Branford Restaurant Week will be held on Sunday, April 14 through Saturday, April 20, 2013.
- Celebrate One Book One Town with Branford Early Childhood Collaborative as we hand out 1200 books to children across Branford.
- New England in Hollywood has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 18 at 7pm at the Blackstone Memorial Library. Â
- Music at Trinity: a Classical Concert Series is Friday, April 19.
- Yale-New Haven Hospital and Smilow Cancer Hospital will sponsor free mammography screenings for the community on Wednesday, April 24, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Community Dining Room.
