Car Into Yard 'Narrowly' Misses Briarwood Lane Couple

The Branford Fire Department said the car, driven by an unidentified man, crashed into a tree but thankfully missed the homeowners.

BRANFORD, CT — A close call for a Briarwood Lane couple working in the yard as a car crashed through their front yard, "narrowly missing" them, firefighters said, before striking a tree.

The driver was treated at the scene and then transported to Yale New Haven Hospital, the Branford Fire Department posted on Facebook.
