Update: 'Clean Up With Christine' And 'Save The Sound'

In honor of Earth week, state Sen. Cohen said the first clean-up is Saturday at Branford High School, gloves, bags will be provided.

UPDATE: Last week's cleanup was postponed due to rain and moved to Saturday, May 1 from 10-11:30 a.m. at Branford High School.

BRANFORD, CT —State Sen. Christine Cohen, teaming up with Save the Sound, announced she's doing a series of "clean-ups" in the days, weeks and months ahead, in honor of Earth week.

People should meet at Branford High School, 185 E. Main St. Saturday at 10 a.m.

Gloves and bags will be provided.

"Come join us for a bit and help beautify the area," she said. She asked folks to "let us know you're in" by sending a note to garnet.mclaughlin@cga.ct.gov.
