Cosgrove Animal Shelter Is Hiring For Part Time, Seasonal Staff
Love animals? These jobs are for you. One job is as an animal camp counselor and the other is a part-time post as an animal care attendant.

BRANFORD, CT — On any given day, the staff at Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter are making a difference in the lives of animals, from abandoned cats to dumped dogs and all manner of critters in between. And on many occasions, staff have made heroic rescues. But there's also the everyday job of caring for the animals who have found themselves at the shelter, including cleaning up after them. But it's a fair trade-off as it's a fun place to work.
And now is the chance to get in on the good work the shelter is doing; it's hiring.
The animal care attendant job is part time, 15 hours a week and the pay is $12 an hour. It mostly involves cleaning and disinfecting kennels and other kennel clean-up. But it also involves answering phones and/or greeting guests and other related duties as needed.
