CT Primary Election In Branford: What To Know Now

Pools are open until 8 p.m. for CT's primary election. By mail, must be postmarked Aug. 11, or put ballot in drop box at Town Hall by 8.

BRANFORD, CT — Originally set for April but pushed to August due to the pandemic, today is Connecticut's presidential primary election day.

Registered Democrat and Republican voters were mailed an application to vote by absentee ballot, and for those who chose that voting method, there's an official state ballot drop box in front of Town Hall. Make sure your ballot is dropped into the box before 8 p.m.

For in-person voting, polls are open until 8 p.m. Any voter standing in line at the polls at 8 p.m. will be allowed to cast a vote.

Districts 1 and 5: The Community House, 46 Church St.

Districts 2, 3 and 7: St. Therese Church Hall, 105 Leetes Island Road

Districts 4 and 6: The Main Firehouse, 45 North Main St.
