ECSU Inducts 14 Students Into Alpha Kappa Delta Sociology Program

WILLIMANTIC, CT (05/13/2021)-- Eastern Connecticut State University's sociology program inducted 14 students into Alpha Kappa Delta (ADK) on May 7, the international honor society for the field of sociology.

Among the students was Jared Moore of Branford, a senior majoring in Criminology and Sociology.

To be inducted, students must have junior standing and an overall 3.3 grade point average, as well as a 3.3 GPA in the sociology major. Students inducted become lifelong members and have access to benefits such as mentorship programs, travel scholarships, student paper competitions, workshops and grants. The society was founded in 1920 at the University of Southern California and has more than 690 chapters.
