Fans of Branford’s Su Casa Flock to Restaurant One Last Time

BRANFORD, CT - Ever since word got out that Su Casa Mexican Restaurant will be closing this Saturday, Sept. 29th after close to a half-century in Branford, people have been lining up to get one last meal at the restaurant.

For the past week or so there have often been lines outside the door at the restaurant at 400 East Main Street and the parking lot for the restaurant, which has been in town since the early 1970s, has been overflowing with cars.

That was the case on 5:30 on Thursday - as again the parking lot was jammed and people were starting to line up outside the door waiting for a turn to eat.

The owner of the restaurant recently revealed that Archie Moore’s Bar & Restaurant, which has locations in New Haven, Milford, Derby and Wallingford will be taking over the restaurant location soon.
