Heads-up: Presidential Preference Primary Polling Place Changes
In addition to polling location changes, safety precautions have been implemented for poll workers and voters: masks and social distancing.

BRANFORD, CT — Due to the coronavirus pandemic, polling places have changed for the Aug. 11 Presidential Preference primary to maximize safety, security and ease of voting.
Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for registered Democrat and Republican voters who have not previously voted by absentee ballot.

Districts 1 and 5 will vote at:
The Community House
46 Church Street
Districts 2, 3 and 7 will vote at:
St. Therese Church Hall
105 Leetes Island Road

In addition, the following safety precautions have been implemented for poll workers and voters:
- All voters should wear a face covering;
- All poll workers will be wearing face shields or have table shields;
- Markings will be placed on the floors to assist with social distancing - Stay 6 feet apart;
- Voting booths will be appropriately spaced;
- Voters will be given their own individual, one-time use pen to fill out the ballot.
