BRANFORD, CT — Three top Stony Creek Brewery employees were laid off this week including brewmaster Andy Schwartz, director of sales Jamal Robinson and account manager Spencer Niebuhr, according to Brewhound, which is a publication that details news in the craft beer industry.

Stony Creek officials confirmed the layoffs saying all three made "immeasurable" contributions to the business but times have changed too. The brewery employs 80 people.
