Noah's Bench in Branford Dedicated During Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month
The bench was dedicated by the family and friends of Noah Bartek.

A bench overlooking the water near Hubbard Bridge in Branford was dedicated on Oct. 23 in memory of Noah Bartek, The Sound reports.
Helen, Mark and Luke Bartek were joined by family, friends and Branford officials during the dedication ceremony.
According to the publication, Noah Bartek was stillborn two years ago on Oct. 26. Helen Bartek wanted the bench dedicated this month to coincide with Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

The family thanked everyone who made it possible to dedicate the bench, the paper reports.
Helen Bartek currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Connecticut nonprofit Hope After Loss that provides free support services to bereaved families.
